Our mission here at Workstreams.ai is to enable individuals and teams to focus on their priorities, collaborate and get things done. We aspire to be the definitive destination for collaborative task management on communication platforms. Our goal is to connect silos within startups and corporations alike, remove overhead, increase transparency and unlock the potential of modern teams everywhere to dare mighty things.

We’ve made getting feedback from our users the driving force in our entrepreneurial process. That is why it was essential for us to be present at Slush, Europe’s largest and coolest entrepreneurship festival, in Helsinki, Finland 🇫🇮.

What is Slush?

Slush is a student-driven, non-profit movement originally founded to change the global attitude towards entrepreneurship. Slush is built to be a vehicle for change. It facilitates meetings between startups and investors by setting up matchmaking and pitching competitions at their annual conference. Slush also aims to build a worldwide startup community that has a strong social mission as well as a mission to succeed in business.

The conference is a two-day extravaganza of exciting opportunities to meet like-minded people, and connect more broadly with the worldwide startup community. It resembles a digital art festival more then a traditional conference.

We simply had to be a part of it.

While attending, we saw countless opportunities for Workstreams.ai to facilitate positive organizational change for many of the companies attending Slush.

Our presence at Slush

Our task management solution is already adopted and loved by some of the world’s most forward-thinking companies, with teams at the forefront of changing habits in the global workplace.

We wanted to emphasize our footprint on forward-thinking companies by also having a strong footprint at Slush and bring our products to a wider audience.

Much preparation went into our booth, showcased on the conference floor. From audio-visual installations to hands-on demo devices, we pulled all the stops to have a remarkable booth.

We are also happy to report that our work paid off. Our booth attracted an incredible amount of visitors, keen on learning more about how Workstreams.ai breaks down barriers, enables transparency and simply empowers teams to get more done in less time. A BIG thank you to everyone who stopped by!

Pitching at Slush 100

We were incredibly happy to be selected to pitch at the Slush 100 startup competition, being part of the 6% out of 4000 startups. Our Co-Founder Roman Roznovsky gave a passionate pitch focused on the challenges of the modern workforce and how Workstreams.ai solves them.

Our warm congratulations to Eversend for making it all the way and winning the grand prize!

Along with pitching, our team was also part of the German delegation at Slush, organized by the German-Finnish chamber of commerce. It was a great experience, and we thank David from the chamber for organizing such a memorable exchange of ideas. While with the delegation, we also had another opportunity to pitch Workstreams.ai to a selected audience of Finnish and German entrepreneurs.

The Slush experience

The overall experience was an overwhelmingly positive one and the conference grounds were a sight to behold. Even with the immersive light installations, saunas, stage sets, visual effects, and fantastic food, however, we were most impressed by Slush’s strong commitment to sustainability in every aspect of the event production.

The talks we had the time to attend covered a variety of topics, from the changing landscape of venture capital to next frontiers in terms of biotech, to the revolution of the working environment. We managed to take something with us from each talk, and apply it to how we work.

All in all, the whole Workstreams.ai team had a great time in grey, wintery Helsinki! We cannot wait to be back for Slush 2020! Kiitos!
